Fall is officially here 🍂 Some people go crazy for pumpkin spice but I’m an apple cider girly for life. There’s nothing better than going apple-picking or heading to a local farmers market to indulge in the comforting, crisp and inviting taste of apple cider. While apple cider is delightful on its own, why not elevate your fall experience with this delicious apple cider mocktail recipe? In this blog post, we’ll share a collection of enticing apple cider mocktails that are perfect for sipping on crisp autumn evenings.

The Ingredients

The Apple Cider

  • 1 sliced apple with skin
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of filtered water

The Mocktail

  • 1 cup of apple cider
  • 1 orange, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbs freshly juiced ginger
  • 1 tsp of pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon
  • a spritz of orange soda

Directions

  1. In a shallow pan, combine all ingredients for the apple syrup over a medium-  high heat, bringing to a gradual boil for 2 minutes.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove syrup from stovetop and cool completely.
  4. Combine ice, the apple syrup, lemon juice, orange juice, ginger juice, and apple cider in a mason jar or shaker. Shake rigorously for 2 minutes.
  5. Assemble the mocktail: In your favorite glass, add ice and the mocktail mix. If desired, use maple syrup to coat the glass.
  6. Top with your orange soda spritz, and add garnishes. We recommend slices of apple, oranges, rosemary sprigs, and cinnamon sticks.
