I’m beyond grateful for sobriety and wish to illuminate all the ways in which it has positively impacted my life, but I also don’t want to gloss over the hard parts. The reality is if sobriety were easy, more people would be sober. So here are the things I wish I would have known before getting sober. This is not an exhaustive list but the biggest takeaways:
